Strategic Planner (m/w) Automotive

Planning Strategy:
1 Develop and implement planning and purchasing strategy looking at product risk code (Low-risk material vs Non-low-risk material) in agreement with the operation department in the SCH. In general, coordinate the strategic planning activities with the strategic planners of the supplying plants. As well, review and maintain the SAP master data (Safety stocks, VSFBs, corresponding to above strategy. 
2.    Monitor Maximum Possible Billings and as well order backlog including forecast orders for the 3 coming months on a daily basis for the SCH.  Identify major fluctuations and in case of, ask Customer Service for further analyses and actions. Distribution to Management, operations, sales and finance. 
3.    Forecast Information Coordination: Investigate and provide requested forecast data for operations and purchasing. Identify pro-actively with the plants the areas where the forecast information needs to be improved at first. 
4.    Life Cycle Management especially for key products: Coordinate with the plants and provide information from ramp-up (SOP) to ramp-down (EOL) using CRM with the objective to ensure that  can fulfill the forecasted demands. 
5.    Regularly review and adjustment of published lead times in SAP. Focus on ramp-down materials to increase the Lead Time and adjust the customer minimum order quantity with the objective to remain cost effective. Collect obsolescence proposals and submit to Product Management. Associate this initiative with corresponding planning strategy.   
 6.    Support Supply Chain Hub in analyzing of Delivery Performance, Slow & Excess root causes and delivery issues. Manage inventory following the sea-freight goal as well as inventory coverage goals given by SCH management, and report the corresponding KPI´s accordingly.  
  Necessary education, experience, languages & skills:
  1.    Fluent in English and German necessary 
2.    Good PC skills especially EXCEL advanced 
3.    Practical knowledge of SAP MM/PP/SD modules as well as Business Warehouse 
4.    Eventually, knowledge of APO in SAP. 
5.    At least five years experience in operational and/or strategic planning environment, desirable preferably gained in the automotive industry

2.    Preferably educated to degree level in sales and/or business management
